At the beginning of the #HU24EU I visited Budapest where I met with MFA State Secretary for Security Policy Péter SZTÁRAY. I particularly underlined the importance of engaging with third countries on #CT if we are to effectively address our internal security threats.

#CT is high on the agenda of the #HU24EU.I met with the Minister of Interior Sándor PINTÉR and the TEK-Counter Terrorism Center. The Minister stressed the importance of strong external borders. I agreed, but also pointed to #terrorist_content_online that needs to be addressed.
