(2/2) UNC’s best route might be following what Kansas did when Roy left. Kansas didn’t hire the biggest name. When Coach K retired Duke didn’t hire the biggest name. UNC needs to find the next big name. There’s a couple out there with that potential.

(1/2) People keep saying UNC has lost luster after TL stayed with Arizona. That’s just not true. It’s a different era in CBB with NIL. If you’re already successful at a top program there’s no reason to leave for ANY job. Idc what jobs were open, Tommy Lloyd wasn’t leaving.

Getting Lloyd would have been great. But also not concerned about him staying at Arizona. Still good options available. My biggest issue is this coaching search should have been done 5 years ago.
