It was amended to also include Transit workers, who are too often assaulted and even stalked by passengers.

🚨Bill passed and headed to the Senate. A bipartisan bill filed after hearing from the folks that work hard keeping our lights, water, gas, and essential utilities on. It's a shame these folks are often working in the most extreme conditions and being threatened!

I gathered with the NC Sweetpotato Commission, the NC Farm Bureau, and the Department of Agriculture today in Raleigh to proclaim February as Sweetpotato Month.
