Day 16: enjoyed the beautiful day by having lunch outside ☀️

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease. People with CF have inherited two copies of the defective CF gene — one copy from each parent. Both parents must have at least one copy of the defective gene. #CFAwarenessMonth

We talked about how animals camouflage with their surroundings in order to hide from their predators. So we camouflaged butterflies and hid them around our classroom!

May is the month of CREATIVITY! Thank you to our librarian, @NRozsa1, and @walters_corie for such a fun activity to celebrate our creativity!

Cooperation: working together to meet a common goal Today, third graders and second graders read books to one another to practice our monthly skill.

A few students participated in our school’s Arts and Academics night! Halle was the spelling bee champion and Luella, Miles and Lola submitted artwork to be on display!
