@_bezpilotnik @JHCPAL @CdrEricson In boating we talk about swinging room when anchoring. Basically the 360 degree space around the anchor. More chain out, more swinging room needed. Marked on a nautical chart, I'd guess it's an area where small craft are permitted to anchor without it being a designated anchorage

Why has she started posting pictures of NE ships you wonder. Because 1) quite a few of you either worked or had family who worked in the yards and 2) being brought up rurally I have no connection to the yards & ships & like finding out about them.

I've stayed in a lot of places. But I do live on a boat.

British Powerlifting! I did 60kg squat, 35 kg bench press, 95kg deadlift. I’m aged 50 and I’m 63kgs. Pretty proud of that!
