@montbla_nc5 cp stands for couple which is a common cultural phenomenon in east asia for at least 20 years, i understand what cp means for english users, but it is weird to see english users call out for the misunderstanding of the term as an asian who calls the ships cp all the time

In Japanese communities, we usually call "shipping" as "CP," which stands for coupling. Apparently, this often causes misunderstandings in English-speaking circles, but is this just a quirk specific to East Asian fan culture?
