Where was the "magnitude of this club" when you defended Amorim with a 37% win rate at Manchester United despite having players like Bruno Fernandes, Cunha, Mbeumo, Mount, Mainoo, Maguire, Martinez, Casemiro, Sesko and many more? It is harder to get 47% at Middlesbrough in the Championship with less funding than to achieve over a 70% win rate in the Bundesliga at a club like Bayern Munich When Carrick took over at Middlesbrough, they were in a relegation battle with 18 points from 17 games yet he turned things around and qualified the club for the Premier League playoffs. But Carrick is where you draw the line. He will become the manager if the owners decide so and there is nothing any of you Amorim supporters can do about it.

The only reason why many fans looked the other way in that Lyon game was the comeback, otherwise that alone was a sackable offence in the context of how poor we were in that period.. Conceding 2 goals at home to 10-men opponent is sacrilegious, it's evident we were always all over the place in most of our games under Amorim, we can have possession but we hardly control games, it was almost like we were tactically deficient.
