This Southern Africa trip with Mr. Peter Obi, from Lagos to Johannesburg to Cape Town and back has been, for me, far beyond movement across cities and meetings across borders. It has been an opportunity for deep observation, learning, reflection, and a closer understanding of leadership, nation-building, and the burden of carrying the hopes of people across different spaces and circumstances.
Beginning in Cape Town, at the Spier dialogue on Africa’s growth and development, I watched Mr Peter Obi engage leaders from across the continent and beyond with remarkable humility and depth. Mr Peter Obi introduced me to the Mayor of Cape Town, political leaders, diplomats, academics, development experts, and participants who had come from different parts of Africa, Europe, and America. What stood out immediately was not merely recognition, but the genuine warmth, respect, and attentiveness with which people received him. Across ideological and political divides, there was a visible acknowledgment of his consistency, clarity, and moral standing.
For me, however, the most profound moments were often not on the podium, but in the quieter spaces, observing how Mr Peter Obi listens, the questions he asks, and the seriousness with which he approaches even the smallest conversations. Whether speaking to former Presidents, current ministers, political leaders, diaspora Nigerians, or ordinary citizens, his first instinct is always to ask questions, How are Nigerians faring? What are the challenges? How are our people treated? What opportunities exist? What lessons can Nigeria learn? What systems are working? What systems are failing?
There is something deeply instructive about seeing a leader genuinely curious, genuinely listening, and genuinely concerned. At the dialogue in Cape Town, when Mr Peter Obi delivered his key address on policies for growth in Africa, he spoke with clarity about the tragedy and paradox of a continent so blessed with natural and human resources still struggling under the weight of poor leadership, corruption, weak institutions, and misplaced priorities. But what struck me most was how seamlessly he connected the broader African conversation with the realities at home in Nigeria.
Mr Peter Obi spoke about leadership not as an abstract concept, but as a lived responsibility. He explained how the quality of governance within a nation ultimately reflects how its citizens are perceived and treated beyond its borders. That leadership at home shapes dignity abroad. That when governance fails, citizens often carry the burden internationally. Yet even while addressing difficult truths, he consistently defended the integrity, resilience, brilliance, and hard work of Nigerians everywhere. Mr Peter Obi raised hope while still confronting reality. He challenged systems without condemning people. He spoke honestly, but never hopelessly.
In Johannesburg and Cape Town, the interactions with Nigerian communities were deeply emotional and revealing. Many shared concerns, fears, frustrations, and experiences about migration, identity, economic hardship, and social tensions. Yet in those interactions, I also saw something else, the trust and emotional connection people have with Mr Peter Obi. Not merely politically, but personally. People spoke to him as someone who understands their pain and still believes in their future.
Watching Mr Peter Obi’s engagements with South African ministers and political leaders was equally enlightening. The discussions were thoughtful, respectful, and frank. There was no grandstanding, no unnecessary drama, just serious conversations around governance, migration, law, regional cooperation, and the future of Africa. Even in disagreement, there was mutual respect.

To every Nigerian who spoke up, reposted, prayed, protested, or stood for me in any way, thank you. If Nigerians had remained silent, maybe I would have been gone forever.
What I went through has only made my belief in a better Nigeria stronger. Someday, the child of nobody will truly become somebody without knowing anybody.
God bless you Nigerians 🇳🇬

After speaking with Nigerians in Cape Town yesterday, I was able to have meaningful discussions this morning with three South African ministers and political party leaders regarding the ongoing challenges related to immigration, regional collaboration, and fostering peaceful coexistence between our nations.
I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Leon Schreiber, the South African Minister of Home Affairs and a prominent figure in the Democratic Alliance; Mr Velenkosini Hlabisa, the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP); and Mr Gayton McKenzie, the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and leader of the Patriotic Alliance (PA).
Our conversations were productive and candid, focusing on the current challenges that affect both countries—particularly those related to migration, economic strains, youth unemployment, security issues, and the rising tensions faced by African foreigners in South Africa.
I firmly believe that Nigeria and South Africa, both prominent African nations, must enhance dialogue, bolster cooperation, and seek solutions based on justice, mutual respect, and adherence to the rule of law. In challenging times, leaders and citizens alike need to demonstrate responsible leadership, compassion, and restraint.
We collectively stressed the importance of law-abiding behaviour, avoiding violence, resisting hate or provocation, and allowing lawful institutions to address grievances through democratic and constitutional processes, regardless of the challenges we face.
The progress of Africa hinges on our ability to create unity, foster economic inclusivity, invest in our communities, and uphold the dignity of every African, no matter where they live. -PO

We spent the entirety of Q1 and Q2 focused on building the utility infrastructure behind the Celia Token..which is of course, the Celia Wallet.
This included enabling seamless crypto buy/sell, swap, send, and receive features, alongside the launch of 5 blockchains, with another 5 blockchains set to launch next month, bringing the total to 10 blockchains integrated into the ecosystem. This is all in line with our vision of building the “Everything Crypto App.”
As we move into Q3 and Q4, our focus will shift more aggressively toward accelerating the growth and value of the Celia Token - a key pillar of our ecosystem — while also driving wider adoption of the Celia Wallet.

The cries of persecuted Christians are rising to heaven day and night.
In many villages, believers no longer sleep peacefully. Mothers hide their children in fear. Fathers stay awake through the night praying that armed men will not break into their homes before morning. Some Christians walk to church not knowing if they will ever return alive. Yet they still carry their Bibles. They still worship Jesus. They still kneel and pray.
How painful it is that many believers are being killed simply for calling upon the name of Christ. Innocent blood is being poured out while the world remains silent. Churches are turned into graveyards. Children are left without parents. Pregnant women are murdered before seeing the children they carried with hope. 😭
But even in this suffering, the words of Jesus remain true:
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:10
The enemy may burn buildings, but he cannot burn the gospel. He may destroy bodies, but he cannot destroy the souls that belong to Jesus Christ. The early disciples were beaten, imprisoned, and killed, yet the Church continued to grow because the power of God cannot be silenced. ✝️🔥
This is the time for Christians around the world to wake up, pray, and stand together. The body of Christ is bleeding. When one believer suffers, the whole Church suffers with them. We cannot become comfortable while our brothers and sisters are dying for their faith. 🙏
Jesus taught us:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
To every persecuted Christian reading this: hold onto Jesus. Even when tears fall from your eyes, heaven is counting every single one of them. God has not abandoned you. Your suffering is not in vain. One day, every hidden pain will become a crown of glory before the throne of God.
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” — 2 Corinthians 4:17

An Open Letter to @KwankwasoRM, @PeterObi, and @iamHSDickson
Please take this matter seriously. The recent court ruling and its implications require careful attention.
The NDC must remain vigilant and ensure that its processes are not compromised by political opportunists seeking to exploit the current situation.
With the recent Federal High Court ruling nullifying key aspects of the timetable previously set by INEC, the political landscape has changed significantly, effectively extending the window for defections to other parties until September 2027.
It is worth recalling that the APC has concluded its primaries, closing its doors to new entrants and leaving many aspirants and members politically displaced.
The NDC must remain vigilant. Those who have already participated in APC primaries should not be allowed to join the NDC and seek the same tickets under a different platform.
There is a real risk that political actors could infiltrate the party, trigger internal crises, and fuel prolonged litigations capable of undermining the hard work and progress of the NDC.
The conflicting signals from INEC and the judiciary raise serious concerns and warrant careful attention. Protecting the integrity, unity, and legal standing of the party should remain a top priority as we build towards 2027.
Respectfully submitted for the protection, unity, and progress of the NDC.
