A special Wave of Light service has been organised by our maternity bereavement team in partnership with local charity, @BabylossLLR, to mark #BabyLossAwarenessWeek.
The service will take place at St Martins House Conference Centre on Sunday 15th October 6.30pm-8pm.

Today marks the first day of #BabyLossAwarenessWeek.
This is the 21st Baby Loss Awareness Week in the UK, and whilst it has grown over time, the aims of the week remain the same.
This week we join together to remember our babies, raise awareness, and drive change 💖💙

After studying & working in baby loss for the last 4.5 years, I experienced my own loss in June. This year’s #BLAW2022 is poignantly striking. Whereas I thought I’d be advocating the entire week, I wanted to spend the week quietly reflecting. I’m on the other side of the mirror.

I flew back a week ago to say goodbye to my grandma, my mom when my mom wasn’t able to be a mom. She died on Monday. I’m becoming a grief expert in theory, but this practice based learning sucks. My 💔 has been broken too many times in 3 years. Time doesn’t stop The world goes on
