#TheBachelorette makes us at Bachelor In Retrospect think of Jason's finale where Melissa was blindsided and heartbroken... but back then they didn't make them do this in front of a live audience or watch their proposal. Why couldn't Jen have gotten the same respect?

If people really needed to see the proposal maybe make it available on ABC.com or Hulu? Good brand synergy AND less cruelty. We all win.
