My god, trans person here! I'm so sick and tired of this. Having a biological women's tournament isn't transphobic; they want biological women only for this, which keeps it 100% fair. We don't know the differences yet fully with us trans people. Cause at the end of the day, trans women are still biologically male, that's a fact.

The announcement of a girls-only Valorant 5v5 tournament has caused some backlash. The event offers a 5000 VP prize per team and is only open to biological female players. People are upset about two things: First, the poster was made with AI. Many say the organizers should have hired real artists from the big Valorant art community instead. Second, the rule that keeps out trans women. This has led to claims of transphobia and calls to boycott the event.

A homeless woman in Austin gets shot dead in the neck and robbed.
Cops figure out pretty fast it was a repeat violent offender Austin prosecutors had already let walk on aggravated robberies, drug felonies, gun charges, plus a separate shooting where he put three bullets in a someone’s leg over a crack baggie.
Cops get the guy on his own home camera, six minutes after the murder, bagging up his bloody clothes, telling a woman to mop the floor and lie to the cops, and literally saying out loud “homicide will be in this hoe.”
DA José Garza’s office looked at all of it and dropped the murder charge two weeks ago.
The man is back on the street.

If you took Invincible the series and removed the Anissa SA arc and instead gave Conquest the Booty Warrior’s evil intentions, what would follow would have been more traumatic, empathetic, and less gay (ironically) than how Mark reacted to Anissa assaulting him.
Because truth be told, a not insignificant portion of male viewers can’t even fathom why Mark’s reaction was what it was (even though they CAN understand that what Anissa did was indeed wrong).
They even gave the man some makeshift torn stockings. It’s portraying the kind of rape that women rightfully fear and in a seriously ham fisted way, dropped a guy in their stead, which is (I’m not gonna lie) comically absurd.
Especially when they could have shown the act in a way that would have been viscerally, maybe even profoundly received by a male audience.
If it were Conquest flying off in the distance here, he would have easily been understood to be villain of the century and Mark’s disposition here would be more appreciated. That’s the biggest ball drop/missed opportunity in the series.
