Labour is replacing one failed Prime Minister with another man who is not ready to govern. If Andy Burnham is not ready to be Prime Minister, he should not be Prime Minister. This is not an apprenticeship training scheme. Britain is not Labour’s work experience placement.

Burnham is not the antidote to Starmer. He is Starmer with better people skills and worse instincts. The only thing that may save Britain is that he will be too weak to do everything he wants.

Jon Sopel called Starmer’s speech dignified. It wasn’t. It was a pack of lies from a man fired for failure.

When you reward strikes, take the union shilling and give in to every demand, you do not buy peace. You embolden the people who believe they control you. Burnham may think he can ride the bull. The problem is, the bull usually wins.

Keir Starmer leaves Downing Street having failed to deliver on almost every promise he made. He came in pledging to end chaos and created more. He couldn't even keep his final promise to fight for his job. Whatever comes next, it won't be straightforward. conservativewoman.co.uk/sir-keir-the-r…

Britain does not need another Prime Minister. It needs a completely different political philosophy. The government borrowed £23.3 billion in May and the political class still thinks the answer is more borrowing, more tax and more state control. Just read that again, in one month, the Labour government borrowed £23.3 BILLION, which is almost as much as was borrowed during the entire 18/19 fiscal year (£23.5 billion). Britain will not last another 3 years of Socialism.

Tonight, there will be a debate and vote in Parliament on the puberty blockers trial. This will reveal, once and for all, which of our MPs care about child safeguarding. Receipts will be kept.

New SNP MP Lara Bird took the oath of allegiance to King Charles in the House of Commons and appeared to cross her fingers while doing it. That is not a protest. It is contempt. Contempt for Parliament. Contempt for her office. Contempt for the constitution. This was an anti-British, anti-Unionist stunt from an MP who wants the privileges of Westminster while sneering at the very country that sent her there. She is entitled to oppose the monarchy. She is entitled to support Scottish independence. But if her first act in Parliament is to treat the oath of office like a childish loophole, the public has every right to ask: If the oath means nothing, what else is optional ?

Starmer is on the brink. Burnham is knocking on the door of No.10. But Britain is not being offered change. It is being offered the same failed Labour poison in a different bottle: higher taxes, more welfare, more regulation and another assault on wealth creation. Britain does not need more socialism. It needs national renewal.

Starmer is going. Good. But the anti-British machine remains. Hermer remains. The legal ideology remains. The EU reset remains. The border farce remains. The contempt for ordinary British people remains. Do not mistake the removal of one man for the defeat of the regime.

Labour loves democracy until democracy becomes inconvenient. The danger for Burnham is obvious: when the proverbial hits the fan, he will not be able to say the public chose him. Labour will remain in turmoil because its policies will either continue Starmer’s failures or make them worse. This creates a historic opening for the right-hand side of British politics. But only if it gets serious.

The British public is rightfully pissed off. They do not want focus group politics, empty slogans or Tory 2.0. They want leadership, conviction and a serious plan to reverse decades of failure. Farage has had major moments before: 2016, 2019, and now. The question is whether he will seize this one, or shirk it?
