It is surprising how many founders expect foundations to fund ideas that have already been rejected by VCs. If your business model can’t convince a professional capital allocator tasked with finding returns, it shouldn’t be treated as a charitable cause. This is an ecosystem, not a subsidy.

Excited to announce that today is my first day at the @SolanaFndn working on growing the consumer ecosystem.
The mission is to accelerate Solana ecosystem teams to bring billions onchain. Grateful to continue the work I love: find exceptional people and help them turn their ideas into reality.
I have utmost conviction that Solana is and will continue to be the consumer chain, home of internet capital markets, and more. There's still so much work to do, we're still early, but even from glimpses so far it's clear: builders are here, momentum is real, and the best is ahead of us.
