games are interactive media and are meant to be played, even in the third world, even when it's through piracy, emulation, or renting PCs

it's funny cuz us so-called "third worlders" are the ones who pirate/emulate games, buy pirated games for less than 2usd (at least back then), and even rent consoles (e.g tigp-piso consoles/5minutes, comshops, etc.)
that's how a lot of people grew up to love videogames here.
