The messages:
• 'These people are so stupid. I almost feel bad for taking advantage of them'
• 'Robbing them blind, baby. That’s how we do it'
• Charging '$50 to park in the grass' and '$60 for closer grass'
They recently reached a deal with the U.S. government to avoid a breakup over allegations of running an illegal monopoly

A fat man knows he is fat. He does not delude himself into thinking otherwise. He accepts it and often does not even mind being identified with it. A fat woman, on the other hand, is anything but that. She will refuse to see herself as fat and will be deeply offended should anyone address her as such. It's not that not buying them doesn't work, it's that it's the simplest solution but people refuse to do it because they've become entitled and now view everything as a necessity.
Pit tickets, regardless of the price have always been and will always be a non-necessity.
Now the entitled just cry and moan to daddy government to take care of everything and even when that doesn't work they still won't give up their "luxury" products.
Companies like Ticketmaster know this. They don't give a flying F about complaints as long as people are still buying their products and until people stop Ticketmaster will continue to operate the way they do.
And I understand that getting enough people to boycott a product is a very difficult thing. So it comes down to your own personal choice. Do you just want to complain about it and continue to give them your hard earned cash or do you want to say, I'm tired of this company ripping me off so I will no longer support them?

You are erasing the massive gulf between Necessity and Luxury that the financial term “non-necessity” is meant to fill.
Pit tickets used to be priced as “non-necessity” goods. Now nosebleeds are priced as “luxury”

And how's that working out? You just said the government rolled over. So the only option now is the power of the people's dollar. Stop using their product, they're forced to adapt (lower prices) or go under.
When it comes to "luxury" I don't mean it as a high end high quality product. There are two types products, necessities and luxuries.
Necessities are anything you need to live like food and shelter. Luxuries are everything else.
So going to a concert falls into the luxury category.

This has been a legal battle since the 90’s and it always ends with a private company bribing our government to not be regulated
