@Asriel_Torrien @YoungHelghast Seamless is amazing, but I wouldn't say that everyone talks about how bad the default co-op experience is. I remember it happening when the game came out, but lately I have seen a lot more people just say that multiplayer is not important for souls, and I don't agree at all

@BacteriaLio @YoungHelghast Dude, EVERYONE talks about it. That’s why Seamless Co-op is such a popular mod. It makes the awful souls co-op bearable for long playthroughs with your friends, while eliminating the need to play through the game 2-3 times at the same time

@beiramiragem @KitexKite It's not, but even ignoring that they fuck up the progression of the game so much. Every other game in the series would be worse off with their inclusion

The fact that there was so little thought behind both pvp and co-op is crazy, open world multiplayer sucks, 3 people max, even more unbalanced, it is so bad.

One of my most memorable experiences with ds3 was a 4 people co-op run with an average rpg party of a tank, rogue, priest and mage where we were limited to only have 1 normal estus, we had to play the game 4 times but it was so much fun.
ER co-op makes a run like that impossible

"Elden Ring critiques" always conveniently leave out how Elden Ring has the worst multiplayer in the series and how detrimental that is to the game as a whole because none of them understand how important Multiplayer is to souls games

@thunderba11r I always felt like demon's, ds2 and bloodborne were easier than ds3 on a first playthrough, but it is by no means a particularly hard game lol
