I apologise for such a long gap between tweets. However here are 2 luscious photos of my Eureka lemon in full bloom🍋

Hoping I get quite a crop of lemons...

Guess whats springing into life? I bought my first Meyer Lemon recently - never grown one before, and look forward to finding out what they are like 😊🍋🍋

Now the trees are under cover for the winter, the first to flush and perk up is the navel orange 'Lane Late'. 🍊But I feel they all need a lot of feeding up. Still at least the leaves are dark green and not yellow.🍃💚

The Citrus Calamondin here👇🍊 is one of the easiest citrus to grow, if you're looking for somewhere to start as a beginner...

IT'S ALIVE !! My poor Eureka Lemon in the greenhouse over winter suffered temperatures of -8 C. There wasn't an awful lot of protection round it either. It looked dreadful, but I had faith it would survive. This winter it's coming into the Orangery

Buds are breaking up the trunk, and there is still green wood in the upper branches, (surprise) but I won't risk this tree again...🍋

Citrus range in a UK garden centre I would like to have seen a much bigger range to entice. Calamondin or lemon.😕
