Got a 2 stars bad review on Truspilot and I’m literally crying and shaking on how some people hide their bad intentions behind fake kindness. For the first point about the change of color, the original set was a mix of color I made a few months ago and since I upgraded my nail art materials and was able to buy the real color, well I upgraded the set (Picture 4). My bad because I should have said something before, it’s not a big change and since in my head, it was upgrading something to be better, I didn’t see the bad in it. Plus, when she received her order, she seemed to « love » them ^^ Secondly, I never had any problems about custom theme orders and I’m ALWAYS available when people ask me questions about anything related to my work and process, it’s literally written everywhere on my website to come talk to me and as you can see, I did answer to her about custom orders process and she didn’t seem to be bothered that there is no sketch beforehand and I ALWAYS tell people that if they have special wants about their set, I’m here to follow their guidelines since they paid for it. The majority of my clients let me freestyle though so it’s rarely a collaboration of ideas between us and it’s crazy to say I will benefit from her inspiration as it’s just a champion/skin name that is given for the order for me to create something out of it. I already said I didn’t have time anymore like at the beginning to create new sets with champions I choose so yeah custom theme orders allow me to create new global sets and it has never been an issue ? It would be pretty hard to make 10 different nail sets for 1 champion for 10 different clients. My prices are not low but they are not as high as they should be for the time, quality and work I do. Creating sets generally take me 6 to 8 hours as it’s really a whole process to illustrate a champion/skin essence into a nail set, sometimes I need to redo some nails because I’m not satisfied, I usually make 10 different nails and not mirrored sets so it’s more work and more ideas to find, painting, sculpting, cleaning and putting the nails in the box is a lot of time I spend on one set. Taking pictures, uploading them on my socials and website, doing publicity, interacting with my community is something I don’t pay myself to do. If people decide to not give my guidelines and let me freestyle then yeah I don’t think there is a confirmation to give as I already worked on it and that it was clear from the beginning. So yeah, if it’s a freestyle custom order, I release it after at a lower price because creation and reproduction don’t take the same time, I think it’s kind of obvious and I kinda like the idea that people who get custom sets unlock new champions and skins to the shop. And that’s also why I don’t charge 100€ + as I should because I also benefit from it and it allows me to keep expanding and I’ve always been transparent about it via emails or dms. For the part about me being rude on my socials and not being grateful, well I don’t think that’s true. I try to answer to ALL my comments, I often thank everyone and say how grateful I am because if my small business is alive that’s because of all of you and your trust in me. For Tiktok comments section, sometimes I don’t have the patience and I still need to learn how to dissociate myself and my work which is hard because I put all of my heart and soul into my project and sometimes I take things personally. Anyway, it’s funny to say you wanna support an artist when you didn’t tell me this when we talked via email just to leave a bad review on Trustpilot that CAN’T be removed because you were not happy about the price, even though I explained the process to you before you buy any custom sets. Our conversation even ended on you saying you will wait for someone else to want a Viktor set so you could get it at a cheaper price, proving you don’t put value into the creation and artistic process. This is breaking my heart right now, idk
