Demand that the administration expel the student agitators and fire problematic staff and faculty. You claim that the jihadists are a small group of the @Columbia student body so now is the time for you to actually do something about this. @EdWorkforceCmte

Scavenged Arabic sources to locate origin of claim that #Israel struck #AlAhliHospital in Gaza, causing building to collapse, death of “500 Palestinians.” Other than politics, I found no Arab evidence to substantiate an Israeli strike or hospital building collapse. Saudi Asharq al-Awsat published a pic (below) showing building, from inside, relatively intact. Even Hamas’s daily, Felesteen, copied its report from Turkish Arabic service Anadul with a pic (below) of fire in what seemed to be like a parking lot. Arab Envoys at UN said that Israel had threatened hospitals in past, therefore blast was Israeli. Al-Jazeera English argued that it must have been Israel because Israel lies "like in case of Shireen Abu-Akleh." Other than conjecture, Arab reporting was mostly about scene of dead and injured, but nothing on source of fire. Meanwhile, Israel offered an avalanche of evidence proving that it was an errant Palestinian rocket that fell on AlAhli hospital. IDF released aerial images showing absence of craters that usually result from Israeli bombardment. IDF also released recordings of two Palestinians (likely leaders whose communications Israel taps) saying Islamic Jihad fired a salvo from the cemetery behind the hospital, and that one fell (maybe even exploded in place upon ignition) on the hospital (proximity can explain high number of casualties and fire without structure collapse). One Palestinian on call said “they’re saying the shrapnel is ours, doesn’t resemble Israeli shrapnel.” In a war where the number of casualties is weaponized to instigate global opinion to end an Israeli campaign designed to end Hamas, credibility of everyone is at stake. Mine I outlined above. I’m open to any logical and believable evidence that can prove otherwise.
