Full announcement: One of the key security measures to protect the community’s assets is that I aka “Sean Marcel” don’t own nor manage nor have access to any agreements (SAFT, SAFE, etc.), wallets, funds or assets associated with the platform. Everything has been transitioned to a multi-layered, partitioned, cross-border setup. This is to (A) render wrench attacks ineffective and (B) protect user’s assets from authoritarian government overreach (seizures, bans, forfeiture, asset freezing etc.). To you this might not seem like a big deal or of high importance, but the reality is that my public association with the platform combined with my haters constantly doxxing me - and spreading misinformation about who owns or controls what - has led to myself and my family getting threatened and blackmailed in attempts to access and steal the crypto which I allegedly own or control. Considering the size and success of vvv.net this was a big target on my back and the people around me, and seemingly attractive to the thieving scum that commits these kind of crimes. While I am fine with hate, I do not accept the lives of loved ones being put into danger because of my career choice. The above changes have been in effect for a while already. I share this today for clarity, and to let those who have targeted me know that it is not possible for me to trigger any transactions or in any other way influence or transfer any assets associated with vVv. For obvious reasons, no further details around (I) the security setup, nor (II) the legal ownership of the platform or assets, nor (III) the people or entities behind the new management, will be disclosed. The most important aspects are that my personal exposure and safety are no longer attack vectors, that your assets are safe and isolated, and that neither physical attacks, hacks, phishing etc. targeted at me or the team will ever lead to access. It’s a dead end. Even if a woke government would go after it — everything is irrevocable and outside the jurisdictions of crypto-hostile forces. Of course the same people who recklessly put my family, me, and the community’s assets in danger will also try to spin this announcement in a negative way. So let me say it one more time for this to be crystal clear: everything I outlined has been in effect for a while already. Me sharing this doesn’t diminish the work I reliably put in on a daily basis, nor can it be misused to discount the accomplishments I delivered and the sacrifices I made for vVv. I’m still here and I continue my work exactly as before. The only thing that changes is that my personal safety is no longer severely compromised, and that our community's assets are safe from attacks of any kind. The next steps are very simple: • we use the beginning of 2026 to push the next chapter forward (aka build out the top of the funnel for vVv and make the platform bear market proof) • once that’s done, the $V TGE proceeds, the nodes become tradable, and additional cash flows and yield go to node operators and shareholders Until then, vvv.net continues business as usual, and conducts token sales & launches. New features, RWA functionality and everything else continues to be built as well. The SS/NFA reimbursements will be sent out in January, just as we promised 12 months ago. I’m looking forward to seeing new faces join vVv and for many of you to hopefully find a home in our community. In closing I want to say thank you, for the incredible support I have received the past 4 years, as well as the massive support for the introduction of the next chapter. We built the foundation, and now it’s time to scale. Welcome to the dawn of a new era that will finally break the barriers and elevate vVv into mainstream awareness. Again, I’m not disappearing. This is a necessary step to ensure my personal safety in order for me to continue to do my job for you. The real world threats and risks have been too real to ignore, and given the progress of the platform this has been a long overdue step.
