Baghdad is planning to increase its oil production threefold to around 900,000 barrels per day to "facilitate Iraqi oil access to global markets," Iraq's State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) chief Ali Nizar said on Wednesday, coming amid the closure of the Strait of Hormuz due to regional conflict - State media

250,000 barrels of Kirkuk oil per day are now flowing through the Kurdistan Region’s pipeline to international markets. After a three-year suspension, exports have resumed via the Region’s pipeline to Turkey’s Ceyhan port, following an agreement reached between Baghdad and Erbil a day earlier.
