@JeffRisdon @erikschlitt Wasn’t sure if maybe you got a sense it was an outside signing or bigger piece (no offense to Adams)
English

@Bailey_PB @erikschlitt Didn't have an idea of who it would be tbh
English

Very smart player, was surprised he didn't find the field last season in some role, but they were also deep at DT

Welcome back, Myles!

@BGWhitefield @DetroitOnLion @theobserver How would you feel about Wonnum + Cam Jordan or Epenesa + Jacas/Lawrence/Moore/Dennis-Sutton @ 50?
English

@DetroitOnLion @theobserver Low ceiling, relatively high floor player. I think he is good against the run which is funny considering his build. I am fine with it as long as its one of many moves at the position. Would like another signing on that level + a high draft pick.

D.J. Wonnum's 2025 season, per D.J. Wonnum

@marxcinho_ @Jordan_Reid Between that trade, TJ hockenson trade, and letting a lot of guys go it was a pretty significant strip down. But getting Goff back and him being very good did make a massive difference in the quick rebound
English

@Jordan_Reid can’t remember the last organization that completely stripped down like this and became a contender some point down the line afterwards
English

@FootballGuy_Al Need a early down starter and pass rush specialist (AQM replacement), I’m assuming Clowney would be the latter?
English

Free agent edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney in 2025 (12th season, 7th team) recorded a 16.7% pass rush win rate, ranking 12th among 112 qualifying edge defenders (min. 150 pass rush snaps).
That tied his career-high PRWR (also 2023) and marked the third straight season he finished in the top 20 among edge defenders, after ranking lower from 2020–22.
Clowney’s 19.1% pressure rate (4th) and 80.6 PFF pass-rush grade (16th) were also career-highs in 2025.
Hard to justify a reason for the Lions not to bring him in on a one-year ~$5–7M deal, which would comfortably exceed the $3.45M he made in 2025.
English

@spizzlemi @Btwn_TheNumbers Yeah Levi does play 4 tech a decent amount, he can play that on early downs. Pretty sure Wingo has alot to as well
English

@Ikilly0 @oblivibum Do you actually like Hero better then JJK and Frieren overall?
Haven’t started S2 yet but HP is really fun
English

@Bailey_PB @oblivibum Just to be clear Im a JJK Onk and Frieren fan
I haven't seen HP and dropped I fire force long ago
English

@Bailey_PB @oblivibum it does 100%
let me be specific
has better direction than JJK by a mile and the narration is way better, at least than the culling game arcs currently, animation is on par.
Characters are just as good, but they talk way more and have more meaningful interactions
English

@Ikilly0 @oblivibum Sentenced to be a hero rivals Frieren in quality and has a better story then JJK, HO and FF?? Not even hating, just genuinely shocked if that’s true and will watch asap if it is
English

@oblivibum it's sad how something stricly better written and with stricly better direction than jjk, hp, AND fire force is not on top, I'd say it rivals frieren in pacing and overall quality
English

@DetroitPistons Dude seems humble as hell too. Glad we have Cade in Detroit
English

@twisted5675 @Bailey_PB @LionsRoyalty There’s some very solid edge rushers in the draft rounds 1-7 this year ngl. Without being able to get Lomu in the 1st, don’t be surprised to see them grab Faulk which will fill that hole
English

@KoryEWoods Same. Seems no one outside of Allen Park knows what the heck their plan is for edge. It’s very puzzling and I’m usually very much in the positive side of the fan base
English

@FakeWorld313 I'd package some picks and move up and get him in the 3rd. He's a perfect fit for Shep's defense, exactly what they look for
English

@twisted5675 @LionsRoyalty Yeah it should be around 33. But save about 30 for the draft and in season. If they need more though they can make it work
English

@Bailey_PB @LionsRoyalty im askign what the cap is rn, since if its 33 million we can spend more and draft guys in the draft
English

@twisted5675 @LionsRoyalty Keep in mind the draft class will cost around ~$8-9M and you generally want $10-20M for in season/deadline signings and to have some buffer going into next year (sometimes more for upcoming extensions). That said the could do more as they can restructure others if needed
English

@LionsRoyalty did the cade mays signing update? if it did we have 33 million dollars we can sign a lot more people
English

@AtoZ_Payton He and Izien is a nice combo for the slot and maybe some Branch coverage until he’s back. No offense to Amik, but like those two more then having trough Amik back
English

That’s a big one. There’s your starting slot corner
Jeremy Fowler@JFowlerESPN
Free agent corner Roger McCreary has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions on a one-year deal, per source. McCreary started 38 games for Tennessee before traded to the Rams last season.
