President of Bailgate RC Peter Howe welcomed 1070 DG Steve Howe to our weekly meeting. The DG presented @BishopKingCE school governor Tony Stevens with the donated garden tools and equipment. Tony can be see holding one of the many donated sets.

Spent the morning at Bomber Command in Lincoln with Bailgate Rotary club members and other fantastic volunteers planting some trees to make 70 on an embankment to be renamed to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Get in the festive spirit and help celebrate the Centenary of Rotary in Lincoln with a Christmas Concert in the stunning setting of Lincoln Cathedral.

@BailgateRC have partnered with Bishops King CE Primary School of Lincoln and provided them with vital translation pens and books for their pupils @BishopKingCoE

@BailgateRC are delighted to be able to support @edanlincs by donating £2600 to pay for vitally needed counselling sessions within their Refuge.

Today ‘The Real Santa Lincoln’ hosted by @BailgateRC spent the whole morning chatting with @StPeteratGowts school from his toy workshop. The children asked him lots of questions, told him jokes and sang to him.

Celia Maddock from EDAN Lincs attended @BailgateRC Zoom meeting last night to update us on a project to provide EDAN staff with Remote Desktop working facilities. This was a joint project with all 4 Lincoln Rotary Clubs. @Lindumrotary @Rotarylincoln @lincolncoloniarotary

Today the outgoing President Allan Orient handed over to the incoming President Roger Papworth. It’s been a difficult few months for the Club due to the Pandemic. Lets hope we can get back to face to face meetings soon and see this familiar view.

The Rotary Club of Bailgate Lincoln @BailgateR are supporting EDAN Lincs @edanlincs with their increased workload of cases of Domestic Violence due to the Coronavirus lockdown by providing some staff with new laptops to enable them to work remotely.

@BailgateR like many Rotary Clubs we exist to make a difference to the local an international community. We don’t expect to be thanked or rewarded for our contribution but it’s lovely when it happens. Thank you @LEBBSBloodBikes

@BailgateR have partnered with the Lincolnshire branch of @AmbulanceStjohn to help fund the retraining of St Johns Ambulance volunteers to enable them to work alongside first line medical staff fighting the Coronavirus outbreak.

@BailgateR are pleased to announce our support for the countywide charity @LEBBSBloodBikes by making a much needed donation towards the running costs of this amazing service.
