Q5: I am convinced that children should be taught digital citizenship skills within multiple environments and by the various trusted adults in their lives -- teachers, parents, coaches, and community members! I believe it is a responsibility we all hold! #pstpln #educ331 @SFecich

Q1: Digital Citizenship refers to the way in which one interacts with, engages in, and explores digital resources. It is vital for learners to be aware of the ways in which one's digital footprint can be grounded in safety, protection, and responsibility.#pstpln #educ331 @SFecich

@Lamb_Samantha21, I think that being persistent in your desire to have relationship with them is important. Their child is the bonding point of your relationship, so taking any chance to encourage them and be a consistent resource for them could be helpful! #dojochatEU

Has anyone found success with engaging families in activities outside of the classroom (in order to get to know them on a deeper level)? #dojochatEU

@l_davis98, this is a great point! In the past, I have seen teachers make "social stories" that tell the story of a child's day (parents can take these home too)! I think this provides the parents with a glimpse into the relationship you are building with their child! #dojochatEU

I have found that setting aside "special time" with each student is a great way to intentionally get to know each child. I think that simple observations of their interests (and joining in on their play) gives a lot of insight into who they are! #dojochatEU #pstpln @CoachDave_007

Hi @AbigayleJudd, I'm so glad you brought up this question up! I think one of the most beneficial ways to connect with parents is to share sweet moments that you witnessed their child engage in during the day! #pstpln #dojochatEU

I hope for my classroom to be based in an outdoor environment so that the smallest of people can fully engage in their surrounding world. Do you have any suggestions for providing experiences or outdoor provocations that are focused on literacy development?#pstpln @outdoorteacher
