We take possession of our house in ten days and I am trying to decide what design choices - painting, lighting, minor renos, etc. - need to be done between then and moving day based off two visits and realtor photos. it’s a little overwhelming

This genius doesn’t even realize that these courses already exist and the topics he mentions are already covered. GMF, Financial & Workplace Math 110 and Financial & Workplace Math 120. Accounting 120 covers the debits and credit. Who is gonna tell him? The education minister?

@kellylawson Financial literacy is a large part of many of high school math courses now, so as a high school math teacher very familiar with the curriculum, I was very confused by Higgs announcing this. 😂

@mdhiggs @DeniseMiller76 It's by my latest experience that most have permanent "B" contracts within 3 years (district decides who gets these based on reviews and their need). Before this, they would have had year-long "D" contracts. All of our Ds from this year are hired for Sept.

I was sorry to hear of Mr. Irving’s passing this morning. It was a long life, fully and well lived, and until immortality is on the table for any of us there is much to celebrate in that. I have a story to share from one small part of his life that I got to observe. 🧵
