FUFA Schools of Excellence clinics will run in confirmed schools across all eight FUFA regions under the Federation’s Elite Talent Development Programme. Final day of the @CAF_Media organized PAMOJA 27 Workshop concluded. The 3 host countries gave their progress towards the preparations for AFCON 2027. Standout from the workshop is the assurance from CAF that Kenya, Tanzania& Uganda will host the 2027 AFCON. #Pamoja27Workshop

FUFA successfully conducted the National Trials over the weekend, further strengthening the structured player development pathway. The objective of the exercise was to identify talent to be nurtured within the Schools of Excellence programme and eventually the National Football Academy. This initiative forms a key component of the FUFA Elite Player Development Pathway, guided by the FUFA Player Development Curriculum and aligned to the Technical Master Plan, with support from the FIFA Talent Development Scheme.

The fruits of planning and strategy!! It gives me great joy to see that even when still only 25% complète, @FufaStadium is already contributing to the easing of the sporting infrastructure challenge that football in Uganda has suffered with over the years. As we speak today, Kadiba together with St marys stadium and Hamz stadium are the only CAF accredited stadiums that can host international matches (category 3) since Mandela stadium is closed for infrastructure up grade and Hoima stadium is yet to be cleared. Tomorrow the Teen Cranes will host Zimbabwe in the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup qualifiers and it will be free access for all.
