$SPY Hope you all had a good weekend. I did. Back to the market. Futures opened flat but oil is up. I think the calm in the markets right now is the calm before the storm. We’ll see. After Wednesday, things should get interesting.

$SPY I need to clear some misconceptions about something. Contracts don’t lose “half” of their value because of the spy dividend adjustment. They lose some value though, but definitely not half. No way. I still don’t like to swing options into dividend days because I don’t want to lose any value because of something like this, even if it’s little. I completely forgot about the dividend when I alerted the trade before the close and I still alerted when I got out before 4:15 for a 2% gain lmao. “I don’t count that as a win lol.” If you didn’t get out of calls and spy gaps up you’ll be fine, you won’t have a 50% crash on your options and you’ll make money. If the market opens flat or red then the contracts will be down slightly more than what they should, that’s all. I’m hoping for a flat open or red to load up the same calls for cheaper. If it gaps up I’ll be happy for those who’ll profit. If the 200 dma holds tomorrow then we are likely going for 670 before a new low. One level at a time. Have a good evening my friends!
