non-anthropic models are now hidden under "Other models" on vscode insiders today 👀

@andreihasna Ah yes, that's also a nice pattern! It also lets you control what's exactly passed to the next step and manually revise if needed

@Balastrong this is smart. i do something similar where i have the agent document what it did before handing off to the next task. reduces context loss significantly

A cool AI workflow on projects with BE+FE on separate repos After implementing a feature in the BE I ask AI to write a handoff document with models, endpoints and everything relevant That document becomes be the foundation to write the FE specs Works great so far

I added a contact form on my website and I got two requests in less than 24 hours! ...but they were spam. Probably from the same person, should count as one to be fair 😅 At least I got confirmation that the form works and messages are properly forwarded on Discord 📈📈📈

Doing localization in Server Side Rendered apps usually needs a tiny extra step to avoid hydration issues Here's a way to do that in TanStack Start 👇 youtu.be/w80x52dvrGQ

Does anyone have an example of i18next on a TanStack Start app? Other localization libraries are ok too, send me the repo link! I'm planning to build a demo to share the coming week anyway, but looking at other implementation is always useful :)

AI: You're absolutely right! I misunderstood the workflow. To be fair I wrote a wrong requirement in my prompt. Thanks for taking the blame, but I would have preferred AI warning me I'm prompting the opposite from the last request 😅

Shorter attention span clashes with the new AI approach to software development of prompting and waiting N seconds to validate the result I lost count of how many times I try to open linkedin or twitter while waiting for an AI process to complete ...like what am I doing now? lol

The TanStack Router Tutorial goes double digit! 🙌 With today's chapter 10 let's see two different ways of redirecting to the previous page after a successful sign in. A small feature but always nice to have 👇 youtu.be/MXffKeNfOvQ

Apparently I slept on some Call for Papers and missed their deadlines… it won’t happen anymore! 📅 I just added an Add to Calendar button on ConfHub Discover and submit events: confhub.tech

The Awesome TanStack Start repo got its 100th star ⭐️ What a better way to celebrate than adding more entries to the list, I just added 8 of them 🙌 If you know some integration, project or valuable resource to share, please submit a PR! github.com/Balastrong/awe…

@SimonDepelchin @lucasreis @tannerlinsley @schanuelmiller I honestly don't have enough evidence to prove an approach is absolutely superior to the other as they both come with tradeoffs I'd say given it's fairly simple to implement either, you can pick the one that better covers your edge cases (if any!) and it will be fine

@tannerlinsley or @schanuelmiller, what's the best and proper way of having a theme switcher in tanstack start? the way that I am doing now is setting the theme in the cookie and using a server function to load it in the initial load + the setting this into a useContext... is this correct?
