BIG, BIG, BIG YES!!!! How exactly did these parasites even get into Japan??!!! I thought they had a pretty tough immigration system. Thank God they have a new & sensible Prime Minister!! Oh & is that Japanese that I see assisting & feeding them? If so, maybe when the deportations begin, they should be sent along to Pakistan, as well, where they could continue to "feed & assist" their new friends

Pakistani immigrants in Japan blocked a road for hours to perform Islamic prayers, forcing an ambulance and school bus to detour. This was about asserting dominance over locals. Do you support deporting all migrants refusing to assimilate? A. Big Yes B. No

I think that should read "A small handful of Ultra Woke Far Left Alphabet Mob types are boycotting singer Robert Plant's music......." Likely a lot of people who may not be familiar all his post-Zeppelin music might be inclined to check some of it out, simply because of an entertainer making a sensible statement such as this. Likewise Zep fans, upon coming across that statement might decide that now's a good time to update their Zep collection eg: replace scratched CDs with new ones or new vinyl. All in all, the few fringe types that he'll lose will be far outnumbered by the support he'll gain, many of Alphabetters making noise are NOT EVEN Zep fans, let alone fans of his solo music!

🚨 People are boycotting Robert Plant after he said children should not be exposed to LGBTQ-themed cartoons. He argued kids should be raised in traditional ways and adults should just let kids be kids. Ban LGBTQ content for minors? A. Yes B. No

I confess to not being very familiar with Steve Kuhn but this is some really fine music! Your post prompted me to look into him a bit more & I found a truly fascinating album that he was involved with one of my favourite pianists & bandleaders the seemingly ageless, utterly unique & truly original Toshiko Akiyoshi. It's titled The Country and Western Sound of Jazz Pianos, recorded in 1963, it mainly features Jazz versions of Western Ballads, Hymns & Country Gospel songs. While playing their usual piano, they both double - Steve on harpischord & Toshiko on celeste. The superb sidemen include guitarist Barry Galbraith, David Izenon on bass & drummer Pete LaRoca. It serves as a real testament to the open mindedness of the musicians, particularly the 2 co-leaders. Here they are on the fairly concise (3 1/2 min) Along The Navajo Trail. Hope you enjoy it youtube.com/watch?v=DJNJHw…

Today, March 24th, is the 87th birthday of my close friend, Steve Kuhn. We had a great time playing together in 2006 at @birdlandjazz with his Trio. Take a listen: ow.ly/MEmy50OQ3NW

Hey Gad, I love your use of the sadly (pun NOT intended) term "castrato". It definitely needs much wider circulation. It's an excellent description of so many far left "males" (is that even the right word?). I'm thinking in particular about those ultra-woke types who fancy themselves as uber-feminists & who spend their days Listening to the speeches of their icon, Justin Trudeau while gazing reverently at his framed portrait.

He took the Covid "vaccine", didn't he??? I seem to remember him saying he did so to allow him to continue to travel, but that he wasn't exactly keen on it. This is absolutely dreadful! Look at all the healthy behaviours he engages in! I sincerely wish him a full recovery but with the vaccine, well..... I hope he's looking into some of that "Covid Vaccine Detox" research being done by Dr Peter McCullough & others. No wonder I haven't heard anything from him lately. The world definitely needs Jordan Peterson!!!

Even more ironic is that the instrument this fanatic is destroying is an oud, which predates Islam by at least 4000 years!

@yacineMTB @elonmusk True, but people still need to self censor “potentially harmful content” like “illegal immigration” “accusing politicians of treason” words like “murd3r”etc. etc. Millions of Americans are unknowingly “Visibility limited” (shadow ban) Yes, 100x better, but could be 1000x better

It's wonderful that he's still at it. I keep hoping he'll record another album in the vein of those great CTI albums, like the one pictured (I think you might be on all of them) Nothing against his fine vocals, but those albums, his earlier Soul Jazz & the 3 live Jazz On A Sunday Afternoon ones (from 1973?) gave him a chance to really stretch out. Well, since (like you) he's still active, maybe he'll end up revisiting that style. I'll keep watching!

It's absolutely wonderful that he's still going strong . He's such a great guitarist, I sort of wish that after he became a superstar that he had continued to put out a few more albums that showcased his guitar playing, like in his earlier days. He's certainly a very fine singer but I love his early soul jazz from the 60s, including his sideman stuff & his CTI albums of the early to mid 70s where he really got a chance to stretch out. My absolute favourites are the 3 Jazz On A Sunday Afternoon Albums. I think they were recorded in 1973.

What exactly is this idiot trying to say? Is she trying to defend the regime with some verbal contortions? She even admits that it was the Shah who gave woman all manner of rights & the Ayatollah took most of them away. In many ways making it worse for them than before the Shah's reforms

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour claims women in Iran have “much more rights today than they do in the rest of the Muslim world.” In Iran, women are often tortured, beaten and killed for simply showing their hair.

@gila47697 @elicalebon Of course there's still gonna be some pro regime fanatics. It doesn't make them anything close to a majority. It's also safer, I suppose to pretend to support the terrorists, as you don't have to worry about being arrested & hung

Anybody repeating the Islamic Regime's ludicrous narrative is either a "fellow traveller" (indoctrinated fanatic) or a gullible fool! You hit all the right points. I'll go further on 1 issue - Regarding the dimwits who say "If you kill a cop in America ,you get shot" Now I don't believe for 1 second that he's guilty BUT In the US he might be killed in a SHOOTOUT with the cops but if he were arrested (like here) he would be jailed with full access to (free) lawyers ,phone calls, etc. In about 1/2 the states he would not even have to worry about a death penalty! In those that do have it, with the teams of free lawyers filing (often nonsense) appeals, upon appeals; it could easily take more than 20yrs for the execution to take place. Of course the fools & tools pushing the "If you kill a cop in America ,you get shot" line know all this but I'm guessing they can create doubt in a the minds of a couple of people unfamiliar with Western justice. And I'll repeat what I said earlier - I don't believe for 1 second that he's guilty. Their idea of a fair trial seems to have been inspired by the likes of Joseph Stalin & Chairman Mao

Stop repeating the narrative of the Islamic Republic in the West about this brave Iranian wrestling champion who was executed by hanging in Iran. Watch this video. Saleh Mohammadi just wanted to be a champion. He had no lawyer, no fair trial, no free media coverage, no access to his family, not even a chance to say goodbye. What did he have? A forced confession after torture. To those saying “if you kill a police officer in America, they will shoot you” , you are helping the regime justify more executions. You are making their job easier in the West. Because this 19 year old wrestler He was not a criminal. His only crime was protesting and demanding freedom. You are putting the lives of other protesters at risk by repeating their narrative. Listen to his story. We have been in contact with his family. Many Iranian athletes and journalists have spoken to them. He was innocent. #IranMassacre

Six years ago, when regime in Iran hanged wrestler Navid Afkari, I launched the United for Navid campaign alongside 50 athletes and activists. We warned the world. No action. Now it’s happening again. More protesters. More athletes. On death row. This time, please don’t look away. Join us to stop the executions and end the root cause of the endless war in the region: the Islamic Republic. Thanks CBS for letting me say their names on air. These five people are not numbers. Not statistics. They are human beings, executed in Iran for protesting. #IranMassacre

Was hatte er?

@AMIRKABIRbozorg It seems that "moharebeh" is a sort of vague "umbrella charge" trotted out for anyone they wish to execute. Teenagers seem to be the current favourite targets of this depraved, fanatical, bunch of nearly universally reviled monsters
