Wow.
Kimberly Birrell defeats #5 Jess Pegula 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 to reach the second round at #RolandGarros.
That’s the biggest upset of the tournament so far.
English

@michael_perry82 @josemorgado Not odds wise… Walton +1500, Birrell was almost +2000
English

@josemorgado Walton beating Medvedev is the biggest upset so far
English

@TheAlphabe69296 @NBA The guy who’s favored to win the award?
English

@Boogie2x_ If it’s from the top of the key like in this situation he most certainly is
English

runs a “basketball page” but doesn’t understand basketball. the shooter is not responsible for being the 1st guy back
BBALLBREAKDOWN@bballbreakdown
This was on Harden to be the safety valve back and he doesn't get it done in a close out game
English

@Chisportsfan127 @isaiahthomas Name me a small guard under 6 foot that plays consistently in the NBA… I’ll wait. Brunson is the definition of a small guard
English

@isaiahthomas Bro is 6’2 i wouldn’t really classify him as a small guard in traditional sense. Honestly ppl that are 6’0 and under are small guards
English

I remember when Coach Becky Hammond went on national TV saying you can’t win with a SMALL guard… Man I don’t like those type of statements smh. Keep doing ya thang Brunson… Us “small” guards all rooting 4 ya #Lefty
English

@SauceYahshua Nah fam… still too unproven. It’s still Baker until further notice, but he can definitely overtake him this year.

@LookUpMarlon7 @CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 Can you not read? Unless Fox has 293 playoff games under his belt. You’re being very disingenuous and you know it. Bench players that don’t touch the floor have no affect on anything that decides the outcome of a game.
English

@BallC99 @CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 So the current spurs team don’t have a total of 293 games under their belt? Thats not a true statement?
English

@LookUpMarlon7 @CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 Your statement couldn’t be further from the truth 😂 and don’t try and bring up bench players that don’t touch the floor in the playoffs. The players that play for the spurs have absolutely no playoff experience outside of Fox
English

@BallC99 @CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 So are you tryna say my statement is wrong or are you just making your own statement?
English

@kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 If experience didn’t matter, they would’ve beat the Thunder in this playoff series. If the Thunder were healthy, this series would be over tomorrow.
English

@ohnohedidnt24 Experience doesn’t matter, this is THE BIGGEST NARRATIVE KILLER IN NBA HISTORY
English

@LookUpMarlon7 @CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 Wemby, Castle, Vassell, Harper, Keldon, and Champagnie, the players who play the most for the Spurs, all have no previous playoff experience. What’re you talking about? 😂
English

@CHOICESCARRED @kitiwad3 @ohnohedidnt24 Don’t the spurs overall got more playoff experience on their team than the thunder rn 🤔
English

@KalshiHoops he will fall to wemby in game5 and lose game 6 and then get all the blame I cannot wait
English

@PizzaSt77184416 @DongMcgee55 @KevinOConnor So you hatin too huh? Having the level of confidence to pull 21 shots in a conference final game is honorable! Especially as role player.. saying he had 21 shots is a compliment and you don’t even know it 😂
English

@ToneTheReal1 @TheSharpBros @BookitWithTrent Can you read?? 😂😂😂 that shit clearly say 5 OR 6. At least I ain’t delusional as you spurs fans saying Thunder was gonna get swept after game 1 or even win in 5 😂 enjoy the wins when ya can, ain’t many more coming
English

@BallC99 @TheSharpBros @BookitWithTrent Thunder in 5 huh? You don’t know shit you jus get on your iPhone 11 and jus start yappin jus

English

@jpibmpg @DongMcgee55 @birger_burd @KevinOConnor He had plenty of chances to prove himself… games 1, 2 and 4 of the lakers series, and games 2 and 3 of the spurs series were all good games. He has already exceeded expectations
English

@BallC99 @DongMcgee55 @birger_burd @KevinOConnor Quedan 2-3 partidos?
Vamos a ver qué hace MacCain, hoy hacia falta
y fue un fantasma.
Español

@birger_burd @KevinOConnor Small, can’t dribble, can’t shoot, thinks he’s the primary option. There’s a reason the Sixers gave up on him after 1.5 yrs
English

@DongMcgee55 @KevinOConnor Sucks when he just dropped 24 last game? 😂 you just sound like a hater
English

@KevinOConnor McCain isn’t ’streaky,’ he just sucks. This team is not deep. Bunch of undersized D and not 3 guys
English

@SchomDeezy @WorldWideWob Usually a deep roster means you don't have a clear cut 5
English

@balldontstop On the flip side, Spurs don’t have anyone either outside of Fox
English

@jasonrmcintyre @JoePompliano It’s only a “kings ransom” because that’s what 10% of his contract was. If he never got a big contract, it wouldn’t be nearly as much
English

@JoePompliano I kind of hate this
Predatory money advance and then demand a king’s ransom when they make it? That’s dirty
Wonder if all those guys read their contracts (I’m assume they were teenagers from impoverished backgrounds)

Fernando Tatis Jr. has lost his lawsuit against Big League Advance.
Tatis was paid $2 million as a minor leaguer in exchange for 10% of his future earnings.
This was not a loan.
If Tatis didn't make it to the big leagues, he didn't have to repay the $2 million.
But Tatis did make it to the big leagues and later signed a 14-year, $340 million contract.
That meant Tatis owed Big League Advance $34 million.
Tatis had publicly praised Big League Advance, saying the $2 million allowed him to hire a personal trainer, upgrade his apartment, and eat better food.
But after realizing he owed $34 million in exchange for $2 million, Tatis sued the company, alleging that they used predatory tactics to lure him into an investment deal that was really an illegal loan.
The judge disagreed.
The agreement was upheld this week and Tatis was even ordered to pay Big League Advance’s legal fees.
This is a big deal because Big League Advance has signed deals with 700+ athletes, including Elly De La Cruz (MLB) and Nolan Smith (NFL), across MLB, NFL, and college sports (think: NIL).
And now that the courts have ordered Fernando Tatis Jr. to follow through on the agreement, other potential legal challenges will likely go the same way.
