@BoltedRed I mean it’s clearly an own goal. But I assume the EPL don’t want to have to climb down from celebrating the “record” so it won’t be changed. And no, that angle doesn’t show the ball was going in without the impact off the GK 😂

@IPilipchuk87005 I think there is certainly an element of this. Entry is an incredible entry and feels very much like it peaked too early.

@SchlagerKaty The betting markets for the jury winner have gone really weird. France and Denmark completely drifted miles leaving Delta as odds on fav but Finland now in a clear 2nd…. If that’s the result I don’t see how 🇦🇺 can hold off 🇫🇮 in the TV unless we are in landslide territory

IMO if it’s between 🇫🇮 and 🇦🇺, the 2 jurors aged 18-25 from any country of your choice will go for the former any day of the week. #Eurovision

@eurovisionbets There are many posters here who have staked everything on Finland not winning. They might be right, they could well be wrong. I think the televote is going to be much more significant than many of those posters want to acknowledge. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the TV is >200

@Reality_Tim Making that argument when Finland is marginally behind Greece & Australia in an unreliable metric is a rather strange take. We get it, you think Finland isn’t winning.

Not only is Finland not where you'd expect it to be in YouTube views, it's also struggling in the like/view ratio compared to other #Eurovision favourites.

@Daniel81651727 @JackTheFact29 I wouldn’t overinterpret Eurojury, the composition is tilted towards JESC contestants and actual contestants which is different than the “professional “ juries. Also the staging could really alienate juries

@BallotsandBlitz The people who make the running order don't know the semi results, just look at Austria 2023. And they should just have made Sarah open and then have Søren on later cause if they worry about viewing numbers then why even have Sarah second to begin with? It just sucks

@Butsagtur @EurovisionNewZ I think Finland will be very pleased with this. Follows high energy songs of UK / Moldova (and big hitter in France) so viewer fatigue hasn't set in. Completely different vibe to Moldova and then followed by calm of Poland / Lithuania. It'll stand out in that section as quality

@MelanieAkys it depends on perspective. There are many unknowns, Finland's "floor" is much higher than anyone elses due to their appeal to both JV+TV, I suspect that's why they have remained solid in the odds

i just dont understand how the odds for finland are THIS high while this year is actually very open

So after a week of people hyping up all challengers to 🇫🇮1 by 1 (🇬🇷 🇮🇱🇫🇷🇧🇬🇷🇴🇦🇺), my best guess at how it shakes out: JV+TV are both v fragmented & uncorrelated. 🇫🇮 is the only 1 I see being top 5 in both, scoring approx. 200 pts in each to win narrowly from 🇦🇺/🇮🇱 #eurovision
