As many of you already know, from 1st November we'll be accepting bookings in Studio 1 again for the first time in 3 years, as it's been completely booked out that entire time. All the usual equipment, a 4000 watt PA with 4x 15 inch speakers, AC, etc. 😀👍

Today is our 20th birthday!! 🥳 Thanks so much to everyone that has used us over the years, it's been an absolute privilege, here's to the next 20 years! (More info in screenshots.)

We will also soon have them available to purchase, but if you want to borrow one for your session and try it out, just let us know in the office and it's yours to use, and as always, for no extra fee. Video recorded by our studio manager, Mark Edwards.

We now have cymbal sizzle chains available in the office for you to borrow in your session! It's a little chain that you put on top of the cymbal, and as it rings out, it adds a little "sizzling" to the sound, as you can hopefully hear in this video. 🙂👍🥁🥓

An example of the Samoiloff Effect that happens in our Studio 3, due to a combination of the red XLR cables that we use, which appear to change colours under the RGB LED lights that we have installed in the studio. This is how they actually look in the studios in real life.

Here's a peek at the process for how we make our button badges, not only the Bally Studios ones that we give out for free to all of the bands that come to us, but also the band badges that we sell as well! Prices start at £10 for 35 badges, fully inclusive. 😃👍

We've just taken delivery of a 1970s Traynor YGM-4 Studio Mate Guitar amp. It has a 20-watt output stage powered by dual EL84 tubes, and x4 12AX7 tubes cover the preamp, reverb, tremolo, and phase-inverter duties. It also comes with a 4x8 inch speakers! @_modelvillage_ 😉

A couple of weeks ago we had the air conditioning in 2 of our studios upgraded, with brand new AC units in Studio 2 & 4. They're not only more powerful than the previous ones, they're also a LOT quieter as well! ❄️❄️❄️❄️ Just in timel!🥵 More improvements are on their way!

We've been churning out loads more badges in the office over the last month or so, including these Bally Pride badges that have been our most popular badges since we started making Bally Badges in 2005! 🏳️‍🌈 Get in touch if you're looking for band badges for your band!

Another 8-track recording session at Bally Studios. Loads of bands have been recording EP's in less than 4 hours, with a live raw recording, just a tiny bit of mixing, and all for less than £100 in all. 🙂👍

As many of the usual Bally bands will have noticed over the last few weeks, we've installed guitar hangers in all of the studios, so that bands no longer need to bring their own, saving space and effort. 📷They're also on sale in the office, £8.50 each. 🙂👍
