@Teamgrassroots_ I coached 6 keepers over the years, one of the main things I’d say to them would be, traditional back 4 that they are the last line of defence, so making sure that you SHOUT & let your defensive line know what’s going on with their blind side. I love a keeper that never shuts up.

This is my son Louie, an U9 goalkeeper. 🧤⚽ Just look at the concentration on his face. Goalkeeping can be a lonely position at times. While everyone else is chasing the ball up the pitch, our keepers are standing on their own, staying focused and ready for that one big moment when their team needs them most. It takes bravery, resilience, and a lot of heart to put on the gloves week after week. Win, lose, or draw, Louie always gives it his all, and we couldn’t be prouder. @DogLovers03 Yes. Our dog, Toby, was with my husband when he died. Toby understood what was happening. After my husband died, Toby laid with him for a while, smelled him, then was ready to get down. It was a precious moment I will never forget.
