Due to today’s inclement weather, Recreation Activity Center programming is cancelled at 1:00 PM. All BCRP permits, programs, and scheduled activities at all BCRP and BCPS sites are cancelled beginning at 1:00 PM and for the remainder of the day.

Status update for Monday: Activities and permits at @BaltCoPS sites are canceled on Monday. @baltcorec sites will begin opening at 10:30 am. Activities and permits prior to that time are canceled. Lansdowne RAC is closed.

Status update: Due to the Baltimore County Public Schools closure, programs and permits at schools sites are closed for the remainder of Friday. Landsdowne Recreation Activity Center is closed on Friday. Recreation and Parks sites are open as scheduled.

Status Update for Wednesday: BCRP facilities are open as scheduled. Activities and permits at BCPS sites are canceled. On Thursday: BCRP facilities are open as scheduled. Schools sites will open with a delay. Before-school activities will not take place.

All recreation and park facilities with a delayed opening are open as of 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Status Update: Honeygo Regional Park and Community Center is closed on Saturday and Sunday 12/27-12/28. There is no access to the bathroom facilities. The park and bathrooms reopen on Monday 12/29. The remainder of the Community Center building will reopen on Friday 1/2.

Status update: Due to the delayed opening on Monday, December 15 for the Baltimore County Public Schools, morning programs and activities at school sites will not take place on Monday.

Status update: Programs at Baltimore County Public Schools sites are canceled on Sunday, 12/14. Baltimore County Recreation and Parks sites will delay opening until 11 am. A decision will be made by 9:30 a.m. on Sunday for the remainder of the day.

Status update as of Monday at 9:30p: ❌ Before-school activities and programs at Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) sites are canceled on Tuesday, December 2. ✅ All Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks (BCRP) sites are operating normal hours on Tuesday.

Oregon Ridge Nature Center will be closed on Monday, November 3 for utility work. The surrounding park, trails, outdoor animal habitats, and the nearby Oregon Ridge Lodge are not impacted by the closure and will remain open during regular hours.

Tonight's Screen on the Green at Holt Park and Center for the Arts is canceled due to weather. The next FREE movie showing is Inside Out 2 at the Essex Day Festival on Saturday, 9/13.

🌧️ Due to the severe weather forecast, all outdoor programs, permits, and water site operations are canceled starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday. Recreation centers, nature centers, and indoor activities remain open as scheduled, but additional changes may be necessary.

Status update: Miami Beach and Rocky Point Beach have reached capacity and the admission gates are currently closed. The only admissions at this time are parties with a previously-reserved pavilion or picnic area.

Status update: Friday evening's Screen on the Green showing of Jungle Book at Oregon Ridge Nature Center is canceled due to severe weather. We're showing Sonic 3 on Saturday, July 26 at Dundalk Heritage Park. Pre-show events begin at 6pm and the movie will start at 7pm.

Status Update: The community center at Sparrows Point Park has reopened. Any further updates will be available at baltimorecountymd.gov/recandparks, on our social media pages, and at 410-88-PARKS (72757).

Status update: The community center at Sparrows Point Park is closed for the remainder of Wednesday for maintenance. A decision about the facility's status for Thursday will be made Thursday morning.
