This signal comes straight from space 🛰️ It's the amateur radio repeater onboard the ISS (~400 km up 🌍), relaying signals from Earth as it passes overhead. Downlink: 437.8 MHz 📡 Doppler shift: ±10 kHz ⚙️ Watch: youtube.com/watch?v=SY6D2a… #hamradio #hamr #ISS

How clean is your RF signal? 📡 Tested the Retevis Ailunce HD2 and the results are alarming ⚠️ • 3rd harmonic (2m): -32 dBc • 2nd harmonic (70cm): 24 dB suppression • Even the 10th harmonic still at -42 dBc Clear FCC & ETSI violations 🚨 Full breakdown: youtube.com/watch?v=vnlOcr… #hamradio #hamr #amateurradio

This video walks through a bench-top, mostly standard-compliant conducted-emissions test setup according to the automotive standard CISPR 25 using the voltage method. It covers the complete setup and shows how measurements are performed on both the supply line and ground return, how differential- and common-mode noise can be separated for troubleshooting. youtube.com/watch?v=5nFXRS…

Is this popular switching converter really EMC garbage? Viewers questioned my setup and the LED load-and yes, both mattered. But even in a proper CISPR 25 setup, the converter still flunks Class 3 limits at just 1 A. youtube.com/shorts/rpPoGAD…

Mains power is dirtier than your ex's browser history. Hook it to an oscilloscope and you'll see just how noisy reality gets. Filtering isn't optional; it's survival. ⚡ youtube.com/shorts/FvgRmeI…

@WurthElectronic I baked some of those in an improvised flowers of sulphur test and compared them against others. They do what they're advertised to do, I couldn't get a single one of the WRIS-RSKS to fail. 👌🏻

In sulfurous air that corrodes standard components, #WurthElektronik's WRIS-RSKS series stands strong. Engineered with ceramic substrates & precision-printed resistance layers, they deliver long-term reliability, even when the air turns hostile. [hubs.li/Q03QPhLQ0] #Blog

What actually happens when the ground plane is missing beneath a signal trace? This video provides a hands-on demonstration of how a break in the ground plane affects electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). youtu.be/YzZHYD0Goog #Arduino , #Arduinoprojects , #Circuitbasics , #Circuits , #Diyprojects, #Electrical , #Electricalengineering , #electronic , #electronics , #ElectronicsTutorials , #engineer , #Engineering , #hamradio , #Maker , #Physics , #Science, #STEM , #tech , #Diyelectronics

High-frequency tech can feel like black magic. Take this ceramic cylinder in an X-band radar. It's a dielectric resonator: a "roundabout" for electric fields, shaping waves via interference to precisely select frequencies. Wild what it can do, right? youtube.com/watch?v=_dHjOH…

Worth knowing: Inductor orientation does matter in practice. Winding direction affects electric field noise! For fast switching, connect the start (dotted end) of the inductor to the switching node to minimize EMI. #electronics #electrical #hamradio #maker
