@FOXBaltimore Claim: The Office of the Inspector General’s web content is not up to date: Each City agency and office is responsible for maintaining its own content. If the Office of the Inspector General’s content is missing or outdated, their content editor needs to provide the updated info.
English

@FOXBaltimore Claim: The Inspector General had trouble finding her own site: The redesigned website prioritizes the services residents search for most based on user research. When “Inspector General” is entered into the search bar, the Office of the Inspector General page appears first.
English

@FOXBaltimore Claim: We should have been monitoring it [the costs] much more carefully: All project spending has been publicly reviewed and approved through the Planning Commission and the Board of Estimates. BCIT manages and monitors all website project budgets and expenditures regularly.

@BaltimoreBrew The information about the new website being outdated when it launches is inaccurate. The City's new website is on a supported version of Drupal, and we're already in the process of updating to Drupal 11 prior to the deadline. For questions, please email bcit@baltimorecity.gov.

Baltimore’s now $5.6 million website redesign will be out-of-date when it’s launched. tinyurl.com/2fpsr9ma The @OIG_Baltimore finds eye-popping new costs for the overhaul of the city’s website that, strangely, has it running on a soon-to-expire content management system.
