DPWT will begin replacing a water line in Towson on Mon, 8/3. Work is on Olympic Place between York Rd and Dulaney Valley Rd, 7a–5p. Crews will replace 300ft of old pipe. Olympic Place will stay open, but there may be lane closures. Work should complete by end of Aug.

We’re on scene at the sinkhole at N. Chester St. & Ashland Ave. Crews are working to restore water service while assessing the utility damage and repairs needed. 💧 🚧 Please avoid the area, as we work to restore things safely. ☝️ We expect this to be a multi-day effort.

⚠️ Service Updates - Solid Waste & Recycling Services Have Resumed With the recent extreme heat ending, DPW will resume normal solid waste operations effective today, Tuesday, July 7. Solid waste facilities have returned to their normal operating hours.
