Create and practice a home fire escape plan with everyone in your household. Make sure every room has two ways out and choose a safe meeting spot outside. Practicing your plan ahead of time can help children, older adults, and family members know what to do in an emergency. Fire safety starts at home, and if there is a fire, get out, stay out, and call 911. #BCFD #FireSafety #EscapePlan #BaltimoreCityFireDepartment

Fire safety starts at home. Avoid overloading outlets or extension cords, and never use cords that feel hot, damaged, or frayed. If you see sparks, smoke, or signs of electrical danger, get out safely and call 911. #BCFD #PrideProtectingPeople #ElectricalSafety
