ND Attempted Murder Arrest Detectives have arrested 35 y/o Othneil Carr Jr. of Baltimore in connection with the shooting of a 28 y/o male in the 2900 blk of Boarman Ave on February 26, 2026. Carr was transported to CBIF, where he was charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder.

Citywide Juvenile Burglary Arrest In connection to 4 burglaries at commercial businesses on November 9, 2025, detectives arrested a 16 y/o male. He was arrested on March 17, 2026, & transported to the Juvenile Justice Center. He was later released on electronic monitoring.

Missing Child: BPD needs help locating 13-year-old Carlton Jeffers (5’; 100lbs). Carlton was last seen on March 14, 2026, in the 1300 blk of Woodbourne Ave, wearing a red hoodie & black jeans.   Anyone with info is urged to contact the Missing Persons at 410-361-9929 or 911.

For 46 years, Ms.Myrna has been a steady presence at BPD. Starting her career as a clerk and eventually landing in the Police Commissioner’s Office — she has witnessed many changes and the progress made in the department.

End of Watch, 03/15/1808: Night Watchman George Workner Night Watchman Workner was stabbed to death during a jailbreak of nine inmates from the Baltimore Jail. He died from the wound the following day. We will never forget.

End of Watch, 03/13/01: Agent Michael Cowdery Agt. Cowdery was shot & killed while in the 2300 blk of Harford Road. The suspect was convicted of Agt. Cowdery's murder & sentenced to life. Agent Cowdery had served with the BPD for 4.5 years. We will never forget.
