the human being becomes:
• Less sensitive
• More dependent on stimulation
• Less inwardly active
The senses get blunted. The soul no longer meets the world — it is merely fed by it.
This is why we should contrast:
•Eating after real work
vs
•Eating in boredom or excess
The same food can feel completely different, because the quality of pleasure is not in the object, but in the activity of the subject.

lots are asking what's next for the clarity act.
so here's what's needed for the act to become law:
1. committee merger
now that the senate banking committee has advanced the clarity act, it must be merged with the senate ag's framework (the committee that oversees the cftc).
2. senate floor vote
the combined bill must go to the full senate floor (needs 60 votes to pass).
3. house-senate reconciliation
because the senate has amended / expanded the bill significantly from the version the house passed in july 2025, the house and senate must settle on and vote to approve a single identical version.
4. presidential signature
once the house and senate approve the final text, the president must sign it into law.

Wisdom alone does not save the soul.
After death, the soul enters a world flooded with overwhelming spiritual wisdom —
just as the earth is surrounded by air and nature, the dead are surrounded by cosmic intelligence.
But this wisdom is too vast to simply “receive.”
If the soul cannot transform it into living force, it becomes submerged in spirit itself.
Dr Steiner says that the task after death is to darken wisdom into life-force; to turn pure spiritual knowledge into something living, active, creative.
And this requires something far deeper than intellect:
inner strength, moral power, creative spiritual activity,..
Otherwise the soul is “drowned in spirit.”
The spiritual world is not passive contemplation.
It is creation.
“The important thing in the spiritual world is that we should have the impulse, the power, to make something out of this wisdom, to produce from it reality.”
And this is exactly where Christ enters the picture.
Steiner is very clear: Christ is not a mere teacher or symbol - Christ is the Living Divine Being at the center of Earth evolution.
Philosophy can reach the Father-God, the realm of order, causality, cosmic law.
But Christ cannot be reached through logic alone.
Why?
Because Christ is not an abstract idea.
Christ is a real divine Being, the Sun-Spirit, who must be recognized inwardly through freedom, faith, moral awakening, or spiritual perception.
This is why Steiner says Christ “proves Himself” only through spiritual knowledge.
Christ awakens the exact force the soul needs after death:
the ability to remain awake, individual, and creative within the ocean of cosmic wisdom.
Without this force, the human “I” risks dissolving into spiritual vastness.
With Christ, the soul remains itself while expanding into the cosmos.
“We provide ourselves with the right impulses to pass through the portal of death when we find the true relationship to Christ.”
And also:
“God the Father we can find during life; we find the Christ when we understand dying in the right way.”
“In Christo Morimur” — In Christ we die.
Not as defeat => but as passage.
Christ is the guide through the threshold.
The Being who:
- meets the soul after death
- carries it through the Midnight Hour
- prevents it from being overwhelmed by spiritual forces
- helps transform cosmic wisdom into the life-forces needed for rebirth
There are two dangers after death:
1. Being drowned in spirit
— losing oneself in overwhelming cosmic wisdom.
2. Being hardened in matter
— losing the capacity to transform spirit into living creative force.
Christ stands between both extremes.
He keeps the soul: awake, free, individualized, morally upright,..
The strongest souls are not the ones who know the most; but the ones who can transform wisdom into living reality.

Animals still possess powers humans lost.
Dr Steiner never saw animals as "lower".
He saw them as specialists; beings who preserved ancient capacities humanity had to sacrifice.
A beaver builds structures that would require engineering calculations from a human.
An ant colony organizes itself with astonishing precision.
A migrating bird navigates continents without maps.
Science calls this instinct.
Steiner called it the residue of primordial wisdom.
Early humanity lived inside this wisdom:
attuned to nature,
guided by cosmic rhythms,
perceiving the world directly rather than thinking about it.
But evolution demanded something higher:
individuality.
To become self-conscious and free, humanity had to lose the old instinctive powers.
Animals kept them.
Even the dog’s extraordinary smell-organ, Steiner said, is not just “better developed.”
It is a surviving form of an ancient human sense-organ — one we transformed into the modern intelligence-brain.
Animals still perceive vividly.
Humans analyze.
Animals remain immersed in life.
Humans step outside life to think about it.
This is why animals sense storms before they break, earthquakes before they strike,
and subtle shifts in nature we no longer notice.
They remain connected to what Steiner called group souls — guiding intelligences shaping entire species.
Humans once lived under similar spiritual guidance.
But it had to withdraw so freedom could emerge.
Human beings became individualized.
Animals remained cosmically connected.
The more self-aware we became,
the more instinctive wisdom we lost.
The lion embodies courage.
The hare embodies sensitivity.
The dog embodies devotion and loyalty.
Steiner’s point was never that humans should regress back into instinct.
The loss was necessary.
Freedom, morality, and independent thought could only emerge by severing humanity from automatic cosmic guidance.
But modern civilization forgot what had been sacrificed.
And so humanity became intellectually brilliant,
while increasingly disconnected from nature, intuition, inner perception, and living meaning itself.
The goal is not to become animal again.
It is to consciously regain spiritual perception without losing freedom.
The modern mind is overstimulated but under-perceptive.
