I honestly think one of Slot's biggest mistakes was not trying to lean on Anfield enough. Not trying to build that connection. When things started to turn, he couldn't fall back on it. People say that shouldn't matter, but football is about emotions. Love Iraola's first interview

@iMiaSanMia I hope no German club is so stupid as to provide free development for “Loserpool” through a two-year loan without demanding at least €20m+. The player alone shouldn’t be enough; he’s not that good yet for you to call it a win-win situation.

The Diomande deal doesn't make sense to me at all. When did Liverpool start playing anyhow in the market? Liverpool of two seasons ago will not spend £40m on a 19 year old. Only one top flight season? Not a fan at all. At all.
