This evening, more than 600 crew members, contractors and other field personnel are working to restore power as quickly as safety allows, including contractors and mutual assistance crews, with more crews enroute.
Given the extent of the damage and conditions, PGE expects restoration efforts will continue through the week; customers are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Strong winds are forecast for Monday, persisting into Tuesday, with potential freezing rain/sleet in our service territory Tuesday evening, potentially adding additional outages and extending restoration.

@R5Crosby When a crew is finished restoring one outage, then they will be moved to a new issue to work on. If there is not a crew at your location currently, it means they are working elsewhere for the time being. We have not forgotten about those in the 97035 area code. ^Cal

So far today, we have restored power to 49,489 customers, with 135,611 remaining (as of 9:30 p.m.).
We have more than 300 crew members, contractors and other personnel working to restore power as quickly as safety allows — with additional crews expected Sunday.
Given the extent of damage and conditions that continue to cause damage, we will continue making repairs and assessing new damage through the night. Restoration efforts will continue through the weekend; customers are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Our priority is always the safety of our workers, customers and communities. We appreciate customers’ patience and we’re working as quickly as safety allows.

@triplesixkicks There was extensive damage in this area. A tree was down and 3 poles were broken. I can see that the tree has been cleared. I am sorry that we aren't able to give exact times for restoration until all damage has been assessed. Crews are working as fast as possible.

@ckimbrechin I understand how frustrating a prolonged outage can be, and I am very sorry. I can see that a large fir tree came down causing the outage. Crews have been onsite to assess the damage, and tree crews have been called for. Crews are working as fast as possible.
