@906bl @KuKhahil I think trying different rotations/line ups when its clear the ones we played in every game of the series weren't working. He never held any player, especially starters, other than Holland accountable all series for poor play.

@Bandit_Dave @KuKhahil I don’t disagree, but this roster is so incredibly flawed I really don’t think there was much he could do.

Going into offseason, goals have to be: -Ausar improving as a scorer -have more than one shooter in your rotation -Don’t waste your MLE on a player that’s been unplayable for 60+ games -Get another ball-handler that’s proven. -Figure out wha you wanna do with Duren.

Pistons fans what are your thoughts on JB Bickerstaff after this season?

@KuKhahil Do you think there should be strong consideration to getting rid of JB? So much of this series imo falls at his inability to adapt game to game, let alone in the game itself.

@KuKhahil He isn't even trying to hide it either. Everytime the Pistons go on a run, he immediatly subs in Duren so we can go back to losing.

@KuKhahil It was Duren coming back in. JB has got to have money on the Magic or something. Anyone with eyes can see that this is not Duren's series, and shouldn't be touching the court.

Cade picking up his third foul and the Pistons deciding to bring in Daniss for him just nuked that whole 2nd quarter they had played get a decent lead.

@detroit_wyso Having a good top 13 can work if you actually choose to use it, which Detroit hasn't this entire series. JB would rather keep playing the same guys every game instead of seeing if someone else can get hot. The only change he has made all series is benching Holland.

Beyond the roster construction issues we’ve discussed over and over, a real issue with the Pistons is that having a good top 13 isn’t all that great in the postseason when you can’t play them all. You need a good top 9 and ideally a great starting 5.

@PistonsMuse I think the concerning thing creeping into the conversation is if Cade is also not a playoff player like Duren. Yes he is scoring a ton in the series, but the turnovers are also costing us majorly. So many are also entirely self caused which is the most concerning part.

You know there’s a serious problem when you need Cade to score 40+ just to win a game

Duren checked in with a 8 point lead. The Pistons are now down 7. They’ve been outscored by 15 since he’s checked in.

Yeah JB is such a LOSER when it comes to playoff coaching. His record before this series showed it and this series only reinforces it. I really think there is a chance he isn't aware he can actually change lineups and bench players.

As a Pistons fan i"m super excited to see who is the head coach next year. First move in the offseason should be to get rid of JB. Its pretty clear he is a great Ra Ra guy, but is not a head coach.

@KuKhahil I'm not sure if Duren can be on the team next year let alone a max player. He really does not seem to be well suited for playoff style basketball. Just to slow, lazy, and hate to say but soft.

JB not feeling like he can trust Duren killed the Pistons to start the fourth. He was supposed to be the one who dominated the non-Cade minutes. Instead, they’re relying on Daniss Jenkins pull-up middies.

@KuKhahil For me it depends entirely on what happens to the roster around him. I think there are places the Pistons need to improve. If they are able to do that in FA then my asking price for him increases dramatically.

This is probably an offseason topic, but has a listener ask me this today and wanted to throw it the TL: What caliber of player would it take (if you have a player specifically that would be great, too) for you to be on board trading Ausar Thompson?

If the Pistons don't win a playoff series and its in part because of the Bickerstaff's insistence on putting Levert out there in critical minutes, then he can not be the HC next year. Loyalty to a player can not come at the cost of the team.

@PrideOfDetroit I was really pro Shep the whole season and really defended him. This game was the breaking point for me and its really showing he just isn't a coordinator and needs to go back to being a position coach.

@PrideOfDetroit I am not in the camp of firing Campbell or Holmes after this year, but I think next season will be the decider for me. The complete implosion this year is really on the front office and coaching staff.

@ttwentyman I think there needs to be some discussion around Holmes and members of the coaching staff. They just look like the less talented and worse coached team

@PrideOfDetroit I hate to say it but Campbell is starting to wear me down with his gambles. He is costing the team. If he has so little faith in the defense then you either need to make a change at DC or personel on the field.

@woodwardsports @Lions @NFL Looking more and more like its Brad Holmes. He is looking more and more like he was a great GM for a bad team but that's it. He doesn't make the needed moves to win now, and now the window is looking like it might have already closed.
