Good morning nurse. Thanks for reaching out. You may have to look at your cv again, ensure you customize your cv for every job you are applying , play around with your experience to match with the requirements. Though many ngo are struggling for funds now that makes the few available ones very competitive. Do not be discouraged by the constant rejection. Just one acceptance all will be history.

@olynze The "calm down and think" part is the most important part of this plan. 😅

Coming back to X and seeing Temi Otedola's pregnancy appearance being compared to that of the average woman reminded me that society rarely allows women to win.
Yesterday, I attended a workshop on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and conversations like this were highlighted. Pregnancy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Every woman's body, health, support system, finances, and living conditions shape her journey differently.
Health professionals shared heartbreaking realities: women whose husbands refused to accompany them for antenatal care, neglected them during pregnancy, or even withheld money needed for medical appointments. Yet these same women are often judged when their experiences don't fit society's expectations.
Let's stop comparing pregnancies and start showing more empathy. No two pregnancies are the same, and every pregnant woman deserves support, dignity, care, and understanding….not criticism.
Thanks to the Federal Ministries, The Global Fund, UNFPA, UN Women, The UN aid and all other partners and collaborating bodies. It was a beautiful and enlightening session 💯
