The only reason resident evil is popular enough to get new games every year or two is because not every modern gamer wants to play a ps1 game to get into a series. Getting mad at that fact is a waste of time. You either get well made, faithful remakes or you get no Resident Evil.

to me this video feels dated. like what my opinion was 5 years ago. calls RE2 remake "not the original experience" but says the GC RE1 remake is just a better version of the original even though they are entirely different tonally. even playing on veteran expectations

3 is very weak compared to the original but that’s the outlier. I will always prefer to have more new resident evil fans over a small group of purists. The new fans are more fun anyway
