Because it’s not a topic tied to a token, there’s no speculation around it. If you tie it to a protocol or a wallet that is hyped, that wants to do an airdrop with a token and already has a lot of users, it suddenly becomes the new hype topic of the ecosystem

Protocols with no token can still be the most valuable infrastructure in the space. Flashbots, Uniswap hooks, Safe ... the token isn't always the product. Sometimes the protocol IS the product.

Yep, especially in a bearish market phase, the focus should be on real usage, real users, and actual market needs.

The best onboarding flow I've seen in web3 recently: - No "connect wallet" on the homepage. - No gas explanation. - No seed phrase. Just the product. The wallet comes later, quietly. That's the standard now.

The protocols that will matter in 10 years probably don't have the highest FDV today. They have the best retention metrics and the most active devs. just my read and my take but we are back to basic = real utility!

I don't know why we haven't evolve concerning crypto-wallet, seed phrases are a 2014 solution that we're still forcing on users in 2026. Account abstraction exists, social recovery exists, there's no excuse anymore to build wallet adapted to our market.

UX is still the #1 blocker for mass adoption. -> seed phrases in 2025, gas fees that change every block, wallets that look like dev tools. We're asking normies to become devs before they can use our apps.
