He is the One who is adorned with a garland of beautiful flowers, He holds the conch and discus, He is the lotus-eyed One. He is the One who is full of light, the One who is praised in all the Vedas, the One who delivers all, and the One who is the final goal to be attained. 🕉️ The Story of the Old Hanuman Sadhaka In a small dusty town near Nashik, there lived an old man everyone called Hanuman Das. He was not born a saint - just a simple mason who built houses with his rough hands and ate whatever his wife cooked. Every morning before sunrise, while the street dogs still slept, he would sit before a small stone Hanuman idol near the banyan tree and chant - “Jai Hanuman gyan gun saagar…” His voice was cracked, sometimes off-tune, but full of love. For thirty years, he did that - every single morning - through sickness, through rain, through heartbreaks. People laughed at him: “Why waste time chanting? You’re still poor, old man!” He only smiled and said, “When my Lord is rich, what is left for me to want?” --- One day, his only son fell sick - a strange fever that no medicine could cure. The old man didn’t panic; he just sat near Hanuman’s idol and cried silently. “Baba… if this is your test, then let me pass it without anger. If you want to take him, take me first.” That night he didn’t sleep. He just kept repeating, “Ram naam satya hai, Ram naam satya hai.” --- Next morning, when he went to pour water on the idol, he saw a monkey sitting exactly on top of Hanuman’s stone head. It looked straight into his eyes - no fear, no movement - just a deep still gaze. Tears rolled down Hanuman Das’s cheeks. He folded his hands and whispered, “Baba, you came.” The monkey stayed there for a few minutes, then climbed down and ran away. By evening, his son opened his eyes and said faintly, “Appa, I dreamt Hanumanji touched my forehead.” --- Years later, when the old man passed away, the villagers found something strange. In his small hut, above his bed, was that same Hanuman idol - But now the stone had faint marks of fingers on the forehead, like someone had once lovingly touched it. No one knows how it appeared. But every year, on Hanuman Jayanti, that place fills with monkeys - They sit quietly near the idol, as if listening to his old cracked chant echoing from the air. --- 🕉️ When you chant with love every single day, you build a bridge that no karma, no sorrow, and no death can break. அதிசியங்கள் நிறைந்த ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர் செண்பகத்தோப்பு காட்டழகர் பெருமாள்...!! பொதுவாக ஒவ்வொரு கோவிலிலும் சில ஆச்சரியமான அற்புதங்கள் நடைபெறும். அதற்கு காரணம் அங்கு காணப்படும் கடவுளின் சக்தியாகும். அப்படி ஒரு அதிசய நிகழ்வு ஸ்ரீவில்லிப்புத்தூரில் உள்ள பெருமாள் கோவிலில் நடைபெறுகிறது. பல அற்புதமான காட்சி அமைப்புகளோடு அழகான இடமான கோவில் பட்டணமாகிய ஸ்ரீவில்லிப்புத்தூரில் இருந்து சில கிலோமீட்டர்கள் தொலைவிலேயே குன்றின் மீது எழில்மிகும் அழகோடு காட்டழகர் கோவில் மலை உச்சியில் மிக பிரம்மாண்டமாக காட்சி அளிக்கின்றது. இங்கு சுந்தரவல்லி, சௌந்தரவல்லி சமேத சுந்தரராஜப் பெருமாளைத் தரிசிக்கலாம். மலைமீதுள்ள இக்கோவிலுக்கு செல்ல 247 படிகள் ஏறிச் செல்ல வேண்டும். இந்த படிகட்டுகள் தமிழ் எழுத்துகள் 247-ஐ உணர்த்தும் விதமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. மேலும் இந்த மலை மீது சிலம்பு ஊற்று என்ற தீர்த்தம் இருக்கிறது. இது அங்குள்ள நாவல் மரப் பொந்தில் இருந்து உற்பத்தியாவது அதிசயமான ஒன்றாகும். அந்த நீரூற்றின் நீர் கீழ்நோக்கி மட்டுமே செல்கின்றது. அக்காட்சி காண்பவர் மனதை கொள்ளை கொள்கின்றது. கோவிலின் பின்புறமுள்ள மலையைப் பார்த்தால் பெருமாளே பள்ளி கொண்டதுபோல் காட்சி தருகிறது. மலைகளே மாலவனாய்! செண்பகத்தோப்பு காட்டு அழகர் கோயில்! சிந்துரச் செம்பொடிப்போல் திருமாலிருஞ் சோலையெங்கும் இந்திர கோபங்களே எழுந்தும்பரந் திட்டனவால் மந்தரம் நாட்டியன்று மதுரக்கொழுஞ் சாறுகொண்ட சுந்தரத் தோளுடையான் சுழலையினின் றுய்துங்கொலோ பல வண்ணங்களைக்கொண்ட வண்ணத்துப் பூச்சிகள், தங்களுடைய சிறகுகளிலிருக்கும் வண்ணங்களைத் தூவியபடி பறந்து திகழும் திருமாலிருஞ்சோலையில் திகழும் இறைவன், மந்தார மலை கொண்டு பாற்கடலைக் கடைந்தபோது கிடைத்த அமிர்தம் போன்ற திருமகளைக் கொண்டவர், அழகிய தோள்களையுடைய அழகர். அவர் மீதான காதலில் அகப்பட்டுவிட்டேன். அதிலிருந்து எப்படி மீள்வேன். இப்படி, ஆண்டாள் பாடிச் சிறப்பித்த திருமாலிருஞ் சோலை இறைவன் கள்ளழகரின் மகிமையை எல்லோரும் அறிவோம். இவரைப் போன்றே, ஸ்ரீவில்லிப்புத்தூர் அருகில் செண்பகத்தோப்பு எனும் பகுதியில் மலை மீது கோயில் கொண்டிருக்கும் காட்டழகரைப் பற்றி அறிவீர்களா? ஸ்ரீவில்லிப்புத்தூரிலிருந்து சுமார் 10 கி.மீ. தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது செண்பகத்தோப்பு; மலையடிவாரப் பகுதி. அங்கிருந்து சுமார் 7 கி.மீ. தூரம் மலைப் பாதையில் பயணித் தால் காட்டழகர் கோயிலை அடையலாம். அப்படிப் பயணிக்கும்போது, திருமாலிருஞ்சோலைக்கு எவ்விதத்திலும் இளைத்ததல்ல என்று, தனது வனப்பாலும் இயற்கை எழிலாலும் நிரூபிக்கிறது செண்பகத்தோப்பு மலைப்பகுதி. பல வண்ணக் கலவையோடு சிறகடித்துப் பறக்கும் வண்ணத்துப் பூச்சிகள், கிளைக்குக் கிளை தாவி குதியாட்டம் போடும் குரங்குகள், கம்பீரமான காட்டு மாடுகள், வானுயர்ந்து நிற்கும் மரங்கள், குளிர்ந்த நீரோடைகள், சுனைகள் ஆகியவற்றை ரசித்தபடியே நாம் மலையேறிக்கொண்டிருக்க, உடன் வந்த அன்பர் ஒருவர், காட்டழகர் கோயிலின் திருக்கதையைக் கூறத் தொடங்கினார். முற்காலத்தில், மதுரை அழகர் மலையில் தங்கியிருந்த சுதபா முனிவரைப் பார்ப்பதற்காக துர்வாசர் முனிவர் வந்திருந்தார். அவரின் வருகையைக் கவனிக்காமல், நீருக்குள் மூழ்கி பெருமாளைக் குறித்த தியானத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருந்தார் சுதபா முனிவர். வெகுநேரம் காத்திருந்து பொறுமை இழந்த துர்வாசர், ‘‘என்னைக் கவனிக்காமல் நீருக்குள் அமிழ்ந்துகிடக்கும் நீர், மண்டூகமாக மாறக்கடவது’’ என்று சபித்துவிட்டார். மண்டூகம் என்றால் தவளை என்று பொருள். பின்னர், சுதபா முனிவர் தமது நிலையை விளக்கி விமோசனம் வேண்டினார். அவரிடம், “தர்மாத்ரி பர்வதம் வராக க்ஷேத்திரத்தில் பாயும் நூபுர கங்கையில் நீராடினால் சாபவிமோசனம் பெறுவீர்” என்று கூறினார் துர்வாசர். ஆனால் சுதபா முனிவரோ, “அழகர் மலையின் அருவியில் நீராடி பெருமாளை வழிபடுவதை எனது ஆயுள் விரதமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். அப்படியிருக்க, நான் எப்படி நூபுர கங்கைக்குச் செல்வது?’’ என்று வருந்தினார். இந்த நிலையில், அழகர் மலையில் வசித்த வசிஷ்டர், பரத்வாஜர், ஆர்ட்டிசேனர் முதலிய ரிஷிகள் அவருக்கு ஒரு வழி சொன்னார்கள். “அழகர் மலையில் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த அருவி, நூபுர கங்கையுடன் இணையப்போகிறது. அந்த இடத்துக்குச் சென்று நீராடலாம். அதனால், உனது விரதத்துக்கும் பங்கம் ஏற்படாது; அழகரின் திருவருளையும் பரிபூரணமாகப் பெறலாம்’’ என்றார்கள். அதன்படியே, சுதபா முனிவர் வராக க்ஷேத்திரம் எனப்படும் இந்தக் காட்டு அழகர் மலைக்கு வான்வழியாகவே வந்துசேர்ந்தார், இங்கே நூபுர கங்கையில் நீராடி சாபமும் நீங்கப்பெற்றார். அவருக்குக் காட்சியளித்த அழகரும் இங்கேயே கோயில்கொண்டு, காட்டு அழகர் என்று திருப்பெயர் பெற்றார். பெருமாளை வழிபட்ட நிலையில் காட்சி தருகிறார் சுதபா முனிவர்.
