OK for the first time in my life, I’ve had a woodpecker that’s literally trying to drill his little head into our house We live in the forest. He’s got every kind of tree he could want. Anybody have a clue how to stop this? This is literally the little culprit. I guess the bird food isn’t enough.

@FarmGirlCarrie Those fellows have found a way into my soffit. Costing me 500 dollars to fix what they did. I should have bought a gun for them. I hate to shoot them but after all 500 is alot.

She’s full of shit that they don’t have the time you’re right you can put dump and go things in a crockpot. How does she think I went to work every day and had dinner every night I used my crockpot. I also didn’t have one meal and then it’s over. They don’t want to eat leftovers. They don’t want to eat beans they just want what they want because they’re entitled.

Crockpot. Costs $24-$55, pays for itself in 2-5 meals. Throw in a $2.50/lb pork roast, carrots, & potatoes in there with some seasonings, butter, & a little water or broth, leave it on low for 6-8 hours, & bam, dinner & leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Takes 5 minutes.

@Spiritpresent3 @Barbara43862273 Oh I know I went through many books and online videos. It’s mind numbing. I love psychology though and how people’s minds work. For me when I’m upset I usually just want to be held without words unless I’m super upset then I will remove myself before I react.

@39mudmarine I get it. My spouse of 30 years died in July and I was so broken when I came home from the hospital. Life is still hard but my life does go on. Life does not get easier as we age.

My wife of 48 years died this morning. I'm on my way to being drunk. Not a permanent condition. I'm 78 my wife 76. It is always the shoulda, coulda, wouldas. Nevermore so than with the loss of a cherished companion. Do it now. don't think there is some sort of waiting period, where you get to collect your thoughts, express them well... and be understood. It doesn't work that way. I am now drunk. I just wrote a lot of bullshit and deleted. My wife was so fucking real. An RN of forty years, attuned to all but herself, ironically, or not. I don't wish to disparage her memory, so will stop now. I will love her forever. She was a gifted soul.
