During last week's Meet the Flock, Oregon LB Will Straton talked about getting caught as a student hiding in the bushes at practice taking notes to prepare him for walk-on tryouts. Dan Lanning hilariously recounted his version of events today: "I remember reading through his notes and it was funny. He was like, 'This guy's not very fast. This QB always stares down his target... I remember that day distinctly... I love that story for Will. He's been an unbelievable member of our team... I'm glad that god works in mysterious ways and lets guys like that join our team."

Really incredible story from Evan Stewart about Dante Moore on the day Stewart tore his patellar tendon: "(Dante) dropped a tear when he came in... He was kind of thinking it was his fault. He was saying he should've put the ball further... What was going to happen was going to happen. It's not your fault. I 100% want you to be my QB. The fact that you shed a tear, that really means a lot to me."
