Getafe have scored the second-fewest goals in La Liga this season with just 28, only Oviedo, who are practically relegated, have fewer. They also have the lowest xG in the league at 24.6, and no other team is even below 30. On top of that, they’ve created the fewest big chances (42), have the fewest touches in the opposition box (471, with no other team below 500), and the lowest average possession (39.3%, again the only team below 40%). And if that wasn’t enough, they also have the most fouls committed (493) and most yellow cards (90). Despite all of this, they’re still sitting in the top 6. I’ve genuinely never seen anything like this before.
